Recap: Colorful Conversations Baltimore

We ended our women’s history celebration month with our very first Colorful Conversations Dinner. The Color Vision was created not only to help women of color advance in their industries, but to remind us all how important it is that we lift as we climb. The evening was hosted by Discovery Channel executive Sararuth Delice. We were joined by political pundit and John Hopkin’s Professor Dr. Wendy Osefo, Lifestyle curator Dayna Bolden, Candice Beauty’s Candice Coleman, Morgan State executive Natasha Lewis, Fox 45’s Chardelle Moore, Caroll School of Dance owner Macee Whitehead, FTI Consulting’s Amber Glenn, PBS Producer Alexis Taylor, Color Vision Creative Director Tia Newton, Director of Workforce Development for Baltimore Mackenzie Garvin, Microsoft executive Aja Page Hill and DIAGEO Local Events Marketing and Activation Manager  Rashida Still.

We dug deep as we discussed the importance of breaking generational curses that plague black women in the corporate and entrepreneurial world with the “there can only be one mentality.” We all left with a renewed purpose that magic ignites magic and iron sharpens iron. We’re looking forward to bringing #colorfulconversations to more cities. Thank you to our presenting sponsor Crown Royal Peach as well Essence Magazine, ORS, Bella Curls, Cantu and Maui Moisture. Check out more pictures here and the video recap below. Stay tuned for Colorful Conversations coming to a city near you!
