Sally Beauty Is Giving $25,000 To A Woman Owned Haircare Brand To Help Them Expand

 

All entrepreneurs know how difficult it can be to get your brand out to the mainstream, let alone  a mainstream store. It takes a great deal of capital to just get started in the right direction. Sally's Beauty knows all too well how difficult the task can be and has launched their business accelerator program created by women for women to help their beauty business grow. Sally's beauty is currently accepting entries from women owned hair care brands, the top brand will receive $25,00 in The top brand chosen will receive $25,000 in financial support, product distribution at SallyBeauty.com, and mentor-ship from the Sally Beauty team. T

“We’re excited to identify the next wave of women entrepreneurs and help support them through the Sally Beauty Cultivate program,” Jamira Johnson, VP Digital and Innovation at Sally Beauty, said in a news release. “We believe there is so much hair care innovation happening every day in women’s homes, salons, and communities, and we want to encourage that innovation to thrive and grow.”

To be considered for the Sally Beauty Cultivate program, your brand must:

  • Include a female founder
  • Have an existing hair focused product in hair care, color, or tools that does not currently have widespread distribution at a major retailer
  • Be based in the U.S.

Applications are being accepted now through July 18 and in August, three semifinalists will be selected for consumers to vote on. From August 15-16, the three semifinalists will travel to Sally Beauty headquarters to pitch their brand.
