Recap: A Toast to the Change makers

We kicked off the new year with a celebration at Officina in Washington, D.C. ! We spent the afternoon celebrating women at the forefront of change in their communities, careers, and businesses. A toast to the change-makers seeks to build community and help remove barriers for women of color to maximize their full potential through opportunity and collaboration. 

Attendees were treated to an intimate conversation with Nikki Osei- Barrett, Publicist, Osei PR. Co-Founder, District Motherhued ® and The Momference, Helena Andrews Author & Writer at Washington Post, Yene Damtew, Hairstylist, stylist to the Obama family, salon and spa owner and LaKendra McNair Senior Vice President| Community Climate Resiliency Environmental, Social & Governance Office at M&T Bank. Maaden Eshete Jones, Founder of Love Goods & Co, hosted the panel.



Guests enjoyed curated cocktails via Ketel One Botanicals and Seedlip, authentic Italian food, desserts, and custom gift bags. 100% of the proceeds from the event will go to Color Vision's Innovator of the Year Scholarship recipient.
