Built to Last: Celebrating Women Shaping Culture

What a beautiful way to celebrate Women’s History Month. 💜

During women’s history month 2026, we gathered at Vital Voices Headquarters in Washington, D.C. for Built to Last: Women Shaping Culture, an evening centered on leadership, creativity, community, and the women building work that will outlive the moment.

Our guests heard from an incredible group of women across industries, including Mariah Oates Barnette, Kacey Holland, Yene Damtew, Tiffany Lumpkin, and Kay Davenport, who joined us for an honest conversation about their journeys, the lessons they’ve learned along the way, and what it really takes to build meaningful careers, businesses, and platforms.

The room was filled with women connecting across industries, supporting our curated vendors, exchanging ideas, and simply enjoying the kind of community we created Color Vision to provide. Our safe space. Our happy space.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was awarding Destiny Givens the $1,000 Murphy Girl Scholarship. We are incredibly grateful to the Murphy family for their generous donation and commitment to helping us invest directly in the next generation of women.

Built to Last was a reminder that shaping culture isn’t only about what we create. It’s about who we bring with us, who we pour into, and what we leave behind.

Thank you to every speaker, vendor, partner, supporter, and woman who spent the evening with us. This is community. This is impact. And this is what it looks like to build something that lasts.
