Project Employee, Partner Integration- Branded Content Manager, NBA

Position Summary: This position is part of the NBA Social & Digital Content team which focuses on identifying, creating, distributing and publishing content to the NBA's social and digital platforms and its many domestic and international partners throughout the world. This is a project employee position based out of the Secaucus, New Jersey office. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, knows the latest trends and understands how brands are activating paid partnership posts across social. They have excellent organization and communications skills and can manage multiple projects to meet deadlines. Lastly, this candidate has their finger on the pulse of the NBA and spends their free time immersing themselves in podcasts, message boards or consuming short and long form content about the NBA. Major Responsibilities:

● Assist the Social & Digital Branded Content Lead with content planning for branded content across the NBA’s social and digital platforms for daily and nightly publishing

● Work with internal teams to ideate and create unique video, photo and graphic content around NBA partnerships that is optimized for each social media platform

● Coordinate publishing of branded content posts with NBA social publishing team

● Ability to assist with publishing on NBA social platforms when needed

● Analyze metrics and optimize content to continue to increase views and engagement

● Report on and track current branded campaigns performance

● Research market trends and what content our fans are engaging with Required Skills/Knowledge:

● Deeply knowledgeable and passionate about the NBA and its players, coaches, and teams

● Knowledgeable about all social media platforms and how to create content for each

● Understanding of how the NBA’s marketing partners activate across social and digital platforms

● Ability to work on deadline and handle multiple tasks at once with a precise and detail-oriented approach

● Great organization and communication skills ● Willingness to work a flexible schedule as this position will include nights and weekends based on the NBA calendar
