Role & Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include creating campaign focused design initiatives, and occasional presentation development. This person would work as part of the creative team and collaborate with editors to conceptualize projects and be able to create from ideation through final production. They are responsible for creating exceptional designs to advance the brand and maintain the established voice and visual identity. This talented person has a knack for assembling existing information in a captivating way, including storyboarding, visualizing process flows, visualizing data, and understanding the client journey. 

The design team works on a variety of projects from high-level, long-term conceptual work to quick-turn digital projects. This team consists of a tightly knit group of individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to challenge existing designs in pursuit of client-centric designs with the user always in mind. Deeply rooted in brand development and build out of design systems. Strong focus on designing with a digital-first mind-set with-in interactive environments. Strong focus on digital design development with emphasis on bringing digital experiences to life, through sketch and passionate about well-crafted experiences. 


Able to implement and support senior staff and the greater strategy of the team.

 

Job Summary

  • This role requires a deep understanding of design for digital experiences of all kinds, sizes, shapes and contexts

  • Focused developing brand systems

  • This will require a strong point of view on design, hands-on creation of experiences, and building meaningful relationships within the organization

  • A user-centric view is paramount for the role, while providing refined and innovatively enriching digital communications and content that drive awareness, understanding, engagement and action which are all on brand

  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment alongside our design, editorial, video and project management teams to deliver new experiences through effective artifacts (from prototypes and low-to-high-fidelity wireframes)

  • A balanced understanding of branding, interaction and visual design is a must for the role

  • Focus on building and evolving brand and brand guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Effectively ensure that the brand is represented across every touchpoint and the design system is harmonious and scalable

  • Meet or beat project metric goals at and after launch

  • Develop appropriate ongoing connection and buy-in with the relevant cross functional stakeholders

  • Serve as a customer-experience advocate, excited about our customer's lives through simple, intelligent and enriching experiences

Skills/Qualifications

  • BFA or BA in related field preferred

  • 6 to 8+ years of experience of successful UX design in industries/roles that directly relate to our business

  • Financial Services experience preferred

  • Be strongly familiar with design strategy and methods, including front design thinking, service, and experience design

  • Expertise in Creative Suite, XD, Sketch, Figma and mobile functionality

  • Hands-on approach and experience across all touchpoints of design: digital, branding, ADA compliance standards, and marketing

  • Have deep experience in leading edge design and development of digital experiences across multiple devices / platforms

  • Be experienced in the development of branded design language / systems

  • Exceptional verbal and communication skills

  • Ability to manage a large workload

Associate, Paid Social, Reprise

Position Summary

As an Associate, Paid Social you will assist in the day-to-day stewarding of both account and media activity on assigned campaigns for our top clients, and help take social media planning to the next level. This entry-level opportunity will kick-start your career in media and provide a platform to partner with the world’s leading consumer brands

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Account/Media team on the development, implementation and optimization of campaigns to successfully execute the defined strategy and achieve business results

  • Serve as resource in terms of gathering and distributing research around the industry or our clients

  • Develop a strong working relationship with the media sales community, specifically our partners, to become the point person for day to day needs and account maintenance for all active campaigns

  • Investigate new sites/media vehicles relevant to clients’ media campaigns

  • Work with sales reps to develop new tactics (placements, creative units) to improve performance of clients’ advertising

  • Use research tools to develop profile of target audiences with view into their social/online behaviors, media consumption, etc.

  • Ensure agreed upon pacing and delivery of campaigns, prompt delivery of reports to clients and accurate/useful performance reports

  • Become proficient with 3rd party ad-serving, tracking & analytic systems to be able to accurately input media plan details and launch campaigns

  • Maintain detailed files of all pertinent records (latest media plans, performance reports, etc.) relevant to clients’ business with Society

  • Reconcile all campaigns to ensure that client receives all planned media and is invoiced/credited properly

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 0-2-year experience in advertising or interactive digital media

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for interactive media / marketing with strong working knowledge of the Internet – and an active user / participant in social media a plus.

  • Proactive ability to multi-task, strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational aptitude, attention to detail, and accuracy when working with numbers

  • Strong desire to learn and build knowledge of: social media, native advertising, marketing principles, marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook and Twitter Advertising), interactive media, and direct response strategies and tactics
